Erica Scarpa
I am an Assyriologist specialized in cuneiform sources, particularly those from the Royal Archives of Ebla (Syria). My research primarily centers on the application of digital methods to written sources, specifically encompassing techniques such as data mining, data visualization, and social network analysis. Additionally, I have a keen interest in social history and prosopographic studies, specifically in statistical and digital methods as essential tools for comprehending ancient societies and individuals. Moreover, I actively research interoperability standards and advocate for the integration of FAIR principles in research.
